When Care goes above and beyond expectations

When my gran moved into a home over 40 years ago, there wasn't the training, companionship and understanding about enrichment and wellbeing there is now. I wish she had experienced the changes and revolution within care sector, to see it as it is now.

Thankfully residential care now offers a life of new friends and adventures, showing true respect and genuine care, motivation and enrichment

The sessions I bring, are specially designed to bring creativity, conversation and enjoyment to residents of all abilities. I provide plenty of guidance, encouragement and support so that everyone can participate at their own pace and enjoy creating something they can feel proud of.

A two-hour group session costs £100 and is suitable for approximately 10-12 residents. This includes:

• Two hours of friendly, guided craft tuition

• Preparation and planning of the activity

• Support and encouragement throughout

• Travel within a 10-mile radius from Stourport

• Activities adapted for a range of abilities

Materials are charged separately according to the chosen craft and typically cost between £3 and £5 per person. For example, a two-hour session for 12 residents, with materials costing £4 each, would be £148 in total.

I can also provide one-off, seasonal or special workshops, as well as regular weekly, fortnightly or monthly sessions. I would be very happy to discuss suitable crafts based on your residents’ interests and abilities.
